Leadership

Dr. Hamp earned his  M.A. in the Bible and its World from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and PhD in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University. He served as a pastor at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, CA where he lectured and developed curriculum at the School of Ministry, Spanish School of Ministry and Calvary Chapel Bible College Graduate School. He has  authored numerous books, articles, & DVDs and has appeared on TV, radio, and online in English and in Spanish. He pastors the Way Congregation in Lakewood, CO.

Jeff Warner has served as a missionary with Cadence International following his tenure in the military.  He has also studied philosophy at the University of Colorado, and served as the pastor of liturgy at Scum of the Earth church in Denver.  He was called to Torah in 2018 and joined The Way Congregation soon thereafter.  He lives and works  right here in Lakewood, and may be found driving through the foothills or digging around in local record stores on any given day.

Carolee has a passion for prayer because she knows prayer works and the Lord still works through his people.  She is an essential part of the ministry at the Way Congregation.

Alley loves working with the youth at the Way in order  to help them gain a love for Yeshua and a deeper understanding of his Word.  She is also intricately involved in our liturgy and festival celebrations and caring for families.

Yisrael Kohen started working as a pastor at Dayspring Church in Arlington, TX in 1988 counseling teens, organizing events and teaching bible classes. In 2015 he founded an organization called Shalom Aleichem Ministry dedicated to serving the homeless and elderly. This is where his passion for the ministry excelled and developed into the nursing home ministry, religious counseling for the elderly and those in hospice care. In 2019 he was brought on staff at The Way Congregation as an associate pastor to continue the nursing home/assisted living, hospice care and homeless outreach programs. He lives in Arvada and continues to serve the church and his greater community.
